Saila Talagadadeevi

VP of Engineering, AI/ML and Data

Saila Talagadadeevi is the Vice President of Engineering, AI/ML and Data, at Cisco ThousandEyes. She’s responsible for setting the strategy and engineering execution for harnessing the power of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and data to drive innovation and business success. With more than 20 years of deep engineering and product leadership experience in AI/ML, spanning hyper-scale companies and startups, Saila is passionate about driving organizations to deliver large-scale impact and building products that align with market needs.

Prior to joining Cisco ThousandEyes, she spent nearly nine years in engineering leadership roles at Google, playing a pivotal role in developing planet-scale distributed systems and ML infrastructures at Google Technical Infrastructure and Google Search. As a Director of Engineering at Google, she led key initiatives in DDoS protection, network security, and abuse and fraud infrastructure. Saila also delivered Skype’s first graph search, revolutionizing search for billions of users, and built its first Natural Language Processing (NLP)-based chatbot.

Saila has a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the PSG College of Technology, and an MBA from the Wharton School.
