ThousandEyes Appoints Two New EMEA Leads to Support Increased Market Demand

San Francisco, CA — May 21, 2020
New VP Solutions Engineering and VP EMEA North Bring Deep Expertise Scaling High-growth Customer-centric Solutions ThousandEyes, the Internet and Cloud Intelligence company, today named Yogi Chandiramani as vice president of Solutions Engineering Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Antony Finn as area vice president of EMEA North. As overall digital transformation efforts continue to speed up, and as companies find themselves navigating a surge in remote business and the user experience challenges that come with it, Chandiramani and Finn will work closely with ThousandEyes customers and partners in EMEA to solve their need for immediate visibility into broader Internet and Cloud performance.

"As cloud migration and other digitization efforts have become critical business priorities overnight, companies all over the world continue to grapple with an increased dependency on the Internet as the delivery mechanism for employee and customer experiences. This shift is manifesting itself in unprecedented demand for the visibility and intelligence that ThousandEyes provides," said Mohit Lad, co-founder and CEO, ThousandEyes. "Yogi and Tony couldn't have joined at a better time and will be instrumental in managing the increased market momentum in EMEA."

Prior to joining ThousandEyes, Chandiramani spent four years at Zscaler helping organizations securely access applications in the cloud. Before that, he helped combat advanced cyber threats while at FireEye and spent 12 years with Blue Coat Systems, a Secure Web Gateway provider, where he headed up the EMEA and Service Providers Systems Engineering teams. In his role as vice president of Solutions Engineering EMEA, Chandiramani will help lead the ThousandEyes pre-sales organization in EMEA.

"I'm excited to join ThousandEyes at such a critical time to help our customers and partners truly maximize the business value from their journey toward digital transformation," said Chandiramani on his decision to join ThousandEyes. "The move to the cloud is happening at warp speed and with our unique ability to provide visibility into broader cloud and Internet health, we're becoming an integral part of that journey as early as the planning stages."

Finn joins ThousandEyes after nine years with Vodafone, heading up global enterprise Cloud & Hosting accounts. He brings over 30 years of experience building and developing high-growth customer-centric teams and culture at companies including Verizon and West Unified Communications Services. With expertise that spans edge to cloud technologies, enterprise software, networking, data-center and security, Finn will continue to drive an emphasis on building business value for customers in the U.K., Ireland, Benelux and Nordics.

"In a digitally dependent business world, milliseconds matter and with edge to cloud acceleration and everything connected everywhere across the Internet, control and visibility are business priorities. I'm passionate about helping executives realize their revenue growth, cost efficiency and user experience objectives across digital and I'm excited to join ThousandEyes, the market and technology leader in digital experience optimization," said Finn.

Chandiramani and Finn join ThousandEyes at a time of accelerated growth:
  • Recently announcing its year-end results and key accomplishments, surpassing $100M in total customer contractual commitments in FY20 and growing almost 80% YoY.
  • Expanding the EMEA team with the hiring of former Zscaler, Citrix and VMware sales leader Matt Piercy to oversee all of EMEA sales, and cloud industry leader Mathias Widler as head of central EMEA sales.
  • Increasing demand from industry-leading global brands turning to ThousandEyes for their Internet and cloud visibility initiatives, including Cushman & Wakefield, Roche, Volvo Group, Saxo Bank and Investec.
  • New strategic alliances, including with Orange Business Services to deliver real time, end-to-end visibility on both its enterprise networks and the Open Transit Internet (OTI), allowing OBS to monitor quality of experience at both the application and network level.
