Company Meets Stringent Criteria to Provide Enhanced Security Controls for Customer Data Protection
ThousandEyes, the company redefining network performance management, today announced that it has successfully completed the Service Organization Control (SOC 2) examination by the independent CPA firm BrightLine CPAs & Associates, Inc. This independent testing reinforces ThousandEyes' continued commitment to information security and customer data protection. BrightLine conducted an extensive and highly-detailed audit, which determined that ThousandEyes' platform, operations, policies and procedures met or surpassed the SOC 2 requirements.
"While we serve a variety of industries, a large percentage of our customers are in key verticals such as financial services, technology and retail, which store and process sensitive information and are subject to various laws and regulations governing information management," said Alexander Anoufriev, Chief Information Security Officer at ThousandEyes. "This successful SOC 2 examination is an important milestone in the operation of our information security management system and is part of our continued commitment to security as it relates both to our own information and information we store and process on behalf of our customers."
Since inception, protecting the security and privacy of customer data has been a top priority for ThousandEyes. The company has built a solid management foundation through adoption of the widely recognized and respected ISO/IEC 27001 standard for their information security management system. The ThousandEyes privacy management system is based on the Safe Harbor Framework, which was developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce in concert with the European Commission. Achieving positive SOC 2 attestation is the latest endeavor to assure customers of the company's overall efforts to stay current and proactive about risk management.
