Cisco AI Assistant Integrated in ThousandEyes

The Cisco AI Assistant is now available within the ThousandEyes platform for all customers.

The Cisco AI Assistant is integrated in ThousandEyes to provide users with enhanced troubleshooting support and analysis through AI-driven insights.

Feature Highlights

  • AI-powered Troubleshooting: The Cisco AI Assistant can help troubleshoot the performance and experience of specific applications by using events, alerts, and Internet Insights outage data.

  • Documentation Analysis: The Cisco AI Assistant allows users to ask natural-language questions about the ThousandEyes product documentation and API documentation, as well as public blogs. 

  • Querying the API: The Cisco AI Assistant can query the APIs for network and application synthetics tests.

  • Faster Diagnosis: Receive key insights from events, alerts, synthetic test data, and Internet Insights data, hastening complex data correlation and problem analysis.

  • Product Knowledge at Your Fingertips: The Cisco AI Assistant makes it easy for users to self-troubleshoot and to quickly understand and configure their ThousandEyes deployment.

  • Coverage Validation: Assess your ThousandEyes test coverage by asking the Cisco AI Assistant questions like "What tests have I set up for Salesforce?" or "Which locations am I monitoring Microsoft Teams from?"

Follow these quick steps to get familiar with the Cisco AI Assistant:

  1. Click the Cisco AI Assistant icon, located to the left of the Help & Support icon.

  2. To explore view options, select the Change view pulldown and change the view to Floating window.

  3. Select the Change view pulldown again and change the view to Full screen.

  4. Select the Change view pulldown again and change the view to New browser tab.

  5. Start by choosing a suggested question and clicking one of the suggestion buttons.

  6. Once completed with the query, click the New thread icon.

  7. Ask the Cisco AI Assistant a custom query by typing into the question field.

  8. Click the collapsed menu icon to see question history.

  9. Click the X to close the Cisco AI Assistant window.
