Securing Assurance for Government
In an increasingly complex digital landscape, government agencies need greater visibility across applications and networks to quickly detect and resolve issues and ensure reliable digital experiences for all users. Cisco is committed to delivering the latest networking solutions that meet the unique needs of federal, state, and local agencies. Today we're proud to announce that Cisco ThousandEyes has achieved FedRAMP Moderate authorization. With this milestone, Cisco ThousandEyes for Government makes it easier for public sector organizations to adopt secure and compliant digital experience assurance and proactively optimize network performance.
Cisco ThousandEyes joins Cisco’s growing portfolio of FedRAMP-authorized offerings. Together, these solutions provide federal customers with the trusted visibility and assurance they need to confidently modernize their IT infrastructure.

What This Means for Our Public Sector Customers
Compliance with FedRAMP has become a baseline federal customer requirement for solutions that support digital transformation initiatives.
Among those initiatives is the 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act (IDEA), which aims to improve digital experiences for government customers and reinforce existing requirements for federal public websites. IDEA and other related programs have empowered government agencies to modernize their IT infrastructure, including migrating networks to SD-WAN and cloud, migrating applications to SaaS and cloud, and migrating workers to remote and hybrid models.
As these critical resources transition, agencies are also choosing to transition from traditional on-premises monitoring tools to modern cloud-native platforms capable of assuring highly distributed and hybrid environments. Cisco ThousandEyes for Government is the perfect fit.
Power and Flexibility for Government Agencies
Cisco ThousandEyes for Government addresses a wider range of digital experience scenarios than other offerings with similar capabilities. It also helps agencies avoid supplier lock-in, as FedRAMP-authorized digital experience monitoring or assurance offers from other suppliers generally require customers to also use the suppliers’ networking, security, or observability products. As a standalone offer, that is not the case for Cisco ThousandEyes for Government.
From the beginning, ThousandEyes has helped organizations assure the digital experiences their end users depend on. Now that ThousandEyes meets FedRAMP Moderate standards and is listed on the official FedRAMP Marketplace, government agencies at the federal, state, and local levels can confidently use it to securely monitor and assure performance across increasingly distributed networks, cloud services, and SaaS applications.
The result: greater visibility, faster problem resolution, and more reliable digital services for employees, citizens, and partners.
