[June 23, 2026, 11:00 AM PDT]

Beginning around 2:20 PM (UTC) on June 23rd, ThousandEyes detected a service degradation affecting Anthropic, an AI model provider. During the incident, users around the globe received server errors and timeouts attempting to access Anthropic’s Claude API. No network loss or elevated latency was observed at the time, suggesting the issue was with Anthropic’s service rather than network connectivity to its frontend servers. Service began recovering around 2:50 PM, and by 3:20 PM service appeared to be restored.
