On June 12, beginning around 13:40 UTC, ThousandEyes detected response errors and timeouts across Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp and later Instagram, impacting service availability for users around the globe. Network reachability appeared intact, with no packet loss or elevated latency observed towards Meta’s front-end infrastructure. Service availability returned near baseline by approximately 15:30 UTC.
