Cisco ThousandEyes has always been about delivering visibility and assurance across both owned and unowned networks—because digital experience depends on infrastructure you control and infrastructure you don’t control. Today, AI is accelerating that complexity. Machine-speed interactions between agents, services, and APIs are driving new traffic patterns and introducing more dynamic, cross-domain dependencies than ever before.
The innovations we’re unveiling at Cisco Live San Diego mark a major expansion in our mission—bringing visibility deeper into owned environments and setting a new bar for operational insight across the full end-to-end digital experience—from AI-powered user interactions and workflows to the networks and devices that support them.
Cisco ThousandEyes delivers on this through an experience-first approach built on three core principles: measure where it matters, see every part of the path, and contextualize the source where you respond and resolve problems.
Here’s how we’re bringing these principles to life at Cisco Live.
Measure Where It Matters
You need visibility where it impacts experience and performance the most—not just where it’s convenient. Our latest innovations extend Cisco ThousandEyes into critical domains and give you the data you need to analyze the full end-to-end digital experience.
ThousandEyes Assurance for Industrial Networks
Unplanned downtime, particularly in remote or inaccessible areas, can seriously disrupt operations. With Cisco’s ruggedized devices—among the most widely deployed in industrial networks—and integrated visibility from Cisco ThousandEyes, you can monitor IT and OT environments end to end. This powerful combination enables organizations to detect and prioritize issues automatically, accelerate resolution, and reduce costly on-site visits, even in the most demanding locations. The result: deeper insight, lower operational costs, and greater resilience across your critical industrial infrastructure.
ThousandEyes Assurance for Mobile Endpoints
ThousandEyes now extends to mobile devices, bringing end-to-end visibility to Android and Zebra platforms. From device performance and app behavior to Wi-Fi and 4G/5G connectivity, it captures every layer of the mobile experience. By identifying issues and root causes in real time, it enables faster troubleshooting, proactive optimization, and more dependable performance—critical for mobile workforces and field operations. Currently available in beta.
ThousandEyes Assurance Embedded Across the Cisco Portfolio
ThousandEyes is deeply integrated across the Cisco portfolio—including Cisco Catalyst Switches and Routing, Cisco Meraki, Nexus switches, Cisco Phones and RoomOS devices, Cisco Secure Client, and now the new Cisco Smart Switches, Cisco Secure Routers, and Cisco Wireless Access Points. This broad, built-in coverage delivers native, end-to-end visibility across every layer of the network—helping IT teams detect, diagnose, and resolve issues faster, wherever they occur.
Expanding BGP Visibility With ThousandEyes
Building on our strength in BGP monitoring, we’re expanding capabilities to deepen visibility into the Internet’s routing layer. These include near real-time alerting for BGP events, RPKI validation to improve routing security, OpenTelemetry support for streaming event-driven BGP metrics into platforms such as Splunk and other observability tools, and richer tabular visibility into global BGP announcements and withdrawals for your customer-tracked prefixes.
Advancing ThousandEyes Traffic Insights
Cisco ThousandEyes Traffic Insights, now generally available, empowers NetOps teams with direct visibility into the network traffic impacting the performance of enterprise networks. Traffic Insights collects Flow records from across the network, categorizes them by application, conversation, or subnet, then automatically correlates the data with synthetic network performance metrics. Through intuitive stack charts, you can gain a rapid contextual understanding of precisely which traffic is causing packet loss or excessive latency so that you can take immediate measures to remediate. Traffic Insights dashboards also provide at-a-glance indications as to how traffic is trending across your network so that you can make proactive adjustments to avoid degraded experiences rather than react to them.
See Every Part of the Path
From client devices to cloud service, across applications, the Internet, and SaaS platforms—our goal is to give you a complete, uninterrupted picture of the digital delivery path, not just fragmented pieces. We're achieving this through deeper, more granular visibility into the enterprise networks you control, as well as expanded cloud coverage.
App-to-Network Visibility With ThousandEyes + Splunk
Integrations between Splunk and ThousandEyes combine Splunk's real-time observability with ThousandEyes end-to-end assurance. Through distributed tracing, users can now see contiguously across networks, clouds, and applications—all presented directly within Splunk—giving IT, networking, and engineering teams a unified view across their critical dependencies. The Cisco ThousandEyes App for Splunk brings ThousandEyes insights directly into Splunk dashboards, making it easier than ever to stream ThousandEyes test data, events, and activity logs into Splunk to swiftly and effectively address performance issues, degradations, and outages. Collectively, these integrations enable faster root cause identification, AI-driven workflows, and automated actions that help prevent issues, speed up resolution, and maintain resilient digital experiences.
ThousandEyes Cloud Insights for Microsoft Azure
We’re extending Cisco ThousandEyes Cloud Insights to support Microsoft Azure, building on our existing deep visibility for Amazon Web Services (AWS). This enhancement brings robust multi-cloud observability to CloudOps teams, delivering end-to-end insight into user experience, traffic patterns, and configuration changes across Azure environments. By correlating network behavior with cloud performance and configuration data, teams can rapidly identify Azure-related disruptions and resolve them faster, ensuring critical digital experiences remain seamless. ThousandEyes Cloud Insights for Microsoft Azure is currently available in private preview.

Contextualize the Source
We don't just collect data; we bring meaning to it. Our assurance innovations truly excel by transforming your isolated signals into actionable insights.
Org-to-Client Assurance in the Meraki Dashboard
New capabilities in the Meraki dashboard now provide both an organization-wide network health view and detailed client-side visibility. IT teams can quickly assess the overall health across all sites, with high-level metrics like device status and health scores to spot trends or issues. At the same time, client connectivity views offer insight from the device (like a retail register) all the way to the application—helping correlate user experience issues with local conditions or upstream network behavior.
Accelerate Insight and Action With Cisco AI Assistant
ThousandEyes now powers advanced skills within the Cisco AI Assistant, which has been trained on understanding network data and ThousandEyes tests to quickly bring context to the source of any issue—helping you solve problems faster. This integration transforms how teams interact with network data, enabling teams to detect and resolve issues faster, map third-party dependencies, and extract insights at machine speed using natural language queries. For example, if an employee is having trouble accessing an application, the AI Assistant can analyze ThousandEyes data from their location in real time, identify root causes such as ISP outages or local network bottlenecks, and return a clear summary of findings to guide next steps, all within seconds.
Build Your Assurance Skills With Cisco U.
We're introducing a new Cisco ThousandEyes Learning Hub on Cisco U, helping to make assurance accessible to more people. This hub features learning pathways, courses, tutorials, and videos, providing the expertise you need to monitor and optimize digital experiences and champion assurance as a core element of your digital strategy.
